Some cases are better solved by using traditional litigation rather than Collaborative Divorce.  For example, the end of an abusive relationship with allegations of domestic violence is often not suitable for Collaborative Divorce.  Cases where there is an imbalance of power, or where one party does not act in good faith, are often not suitable for Collaborative Divorce.  I am a trial lawyer, an advocate for my clients, and I am ready to take your case through the entire process, beginning to end.  I am ready and able to take your case through trial and appeal.

Non-collaborative, contested family law litigation is not the best solution for everyone.  It is important that you discuss your options with your attorney before deciding how you wish to proceed, given that non-collaborative, contested family law litigation and Collaborative Divorce are mutually exclusive.
